Lights....Camera.....Worship!
Lights... Camera... Worship!
There are many people who work behind the scenes every week to ensure that we have a great worship experience at Crossroads. The Media Team is always looking for people who have a passion for serving behind the scenes in the areas of sound, lighting, video, and stage production. Here are some examples of where you can get plugged in.
Lighting Operator- Design and control lighting scenes during the worship service.
Camera Operator- Be a part of the video team by running a camera during Sunday morning services. This is a great way to get involved in the media team and requires little experience to start out.
Graphics Operator (Kannapolis)- The Graphics Operator is responsible for playing back all media that is seen on screen during the service. This includes song lyrics, video, and sermon notes. Some computer experience is helpful in this position as well as being familiar with praise and worship songs.
Contact Anthony West at (704)707-1167 or at anthony@xroadschurch.us for more information on how you can be a part of this exciting ministry

Steve Moose's Story of Hope
STEVE’S STORY OF HOPE
Steve Moose of Concord, NC is awaiting a bone marrow transplant and desperately needs the help of family, friends and the community. Steve, a Local 421 Union worker, was recently diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML). Upon evaluation by the doctors at UNC Chapel Hill, it has been determined that Steve is an excellent candidate for a bone marrow transplant. This procedure is considered his best chance for survival.
However, even with medical insurance, many of his needs are not covered and must be paid for out-of-pocket. We anticipate substantial uninsured costs such as healthcare deductibles, co-payments, medications, and relocation expenses. Fundraising is essential to the overall success of Steve’s struggle. This is where your help is needed.
A fundraising campaign has been established with the National Transplant Assistance Fund (NTAF) in honor of Steve. NTAF is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that has been assisting the transplant community for over twenty years. All contributions are administered by NTAF exclusively for uninsured transplant-related expenses. Donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. To make a charitable contribution:
Make checks payable to: NTAF South-Atlantic Bone Marrow Transplant Fund
Note in the memo section: In Honor of Steve Moose
Mail to: National Transplant Assistance Fund
150 N. Radnor Chester Road, Suite F-120
Radnor, PA 19087
To make a credit card contribution, please call 800-642-8399 or visit www.transplantfund.org.
Family and friends are planning a series of community events to benefit this cause. We can use your time, energy and creativity in any and every way. Please call or email with any questions, to volunteer your time or to request additional information.
Thank you in advance for your kind consideration.
