Easter Lilies

The church will be displaying Easter Lilies for our Easter Sunday Worship Services. Proceeds are donated to the Arc of Cabarrus County. Order forms are available at the Church Office during the week, at the Welcome Desk on Sunday mornings or directly through the Arc of Cabarrus County. Following the 11:11am service on Easter Sunday, the lilies may be taken home with you.

Cost: $8.50. Order Deadline: Sunday, March 21, 2010.

Puerto Rico Mission Team Fundraiser

The Puerto Rico Mission Team is currently selling Auto Bell car wash certificates to raise funds to support the April 2010 trip.

On this trip we will serve the Lord through worship and praise at the local church (Barrio Singapur, Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico) supported by the missionaries, John and Kerry Cox. Many of you may remember them from their recent visit at Crossroads in October 2009. We also will provide much needed construction and repairs to damaged homes within the same community.

Each certificate is for a $13.95 Full Service Car Wash - valid at any Auto Bell location and does not have an expiration date.

To support this Mission Trip by purchasing a car wash certificate, please stop by the office window in the Narthex (Concord Campus) this Sunday.

Cook Off for a Great Cause!

Join the Puerto Rico Mission Team for a Cook Off at Woodlands Outdoor Living. The competing grill masters are the five mission team members: Aaron Van Gilder, Adam Yacuzzo, Kenn Huston, Scott Greeson and Tony Manka. They will be grilling chicken, ribs, Boston butt and pork shoulder. Come and sample each selection and vote for your favorite with your donation. The grill master with the most donations will be declared the winner. In addition, the team will be selling hamburger, hotdog and bratwurst plates. All proceeds will go directly to the Puerto Rico Mission Trip. The Woodlands Outdoor Living is located on Hwy 29, near the intersection with Poplar Tent Rd.

Hockey for Haiti

Join us Thursday, March 11 for a night of hockey with the Charlotte Checkers. The Checkers will be hosting the Gwinnett Gladiators. Half of all proceeds from the ticket sales from the evening will go to the Red Cross Haiti Relief Fund. The puck drops at 7:00pm!

Impact Salisbury District

Imagine being one of thousands of United Methodists across the Western NC Conference moving out beyond the walls of their churches into their communities, offering signs of love and hope through service on one single day. This is a dream that will become a reality on Saturday, June 5^th, as each district in the conference sponsors Impact Community events.

You and those you invite to join you will make a difference in the Salisbury District by volunteering to participate in outreach projects.
