One Heart - Beach Blast

Ladies, you are all invited to the One Heart Beach Blast on TONIGHT May 29 at 7:00 pm in the NexGen Auditorium. Decorate those flip flops, paint your toes and bring your friends and daughters for some really neat contests. Don't forget to bring your favorite beach chair or quilt and an appetizer to pass! We might even teach you a basic shag step. A donation of $5 would be appreciated for this event.

Once again we have accumulated countless treasures in our Lost & Found box. If you are missing jackets, bags, baby dolls, cell phones, jewelry, Bibles, lions or tigers or bears, OH MY… please stop by our Welcome Desk in the NexGen Wing and claim them.
All items not claimed by June 3 will be donated to a local charity.

Family Promise Outreach

There will be a training session held for volunteers helping with the Family Promise Outreach on Tuesday, June 2 in room 200 at 6:30.

Family Skate Night

The next Kids 1st Skate Night is on Monday, June 8 at Frye’s Roller Rink from 6:30-8:30 pm. Admission/Skate rental is $3.00. A great time for the whole family!

SWAT (Student Worship Arts Team) is putting on its final concert of the season Sunday, May 31st.

The concert will be held in the NextGen Auditorium at 5:30pm. This will be a worship experience totally led by middle school and high school students utilizing their gifts in music, drama, dance, and technology.

Kindermusik Now Offered

Kindermusik will be offered at the Concord Campus by Lori Carnes. Lori is a graduate of Wingate University and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications with a emphasis in Journalism and Media Arts. She and her husband Mark, Crossroads' Worship and Arts Director, have three boys. Come join Lori on this musical journey where you and your child will have a magical, memorable time together both in class and at home. A few weeks ago we announced that we had a member of Crossroads was in need of an apartment. Well, to let you know that someone called and now he is moving into his new home on Saturday. God is our provider!!!!!!!

God's Supper Table

GOD's Suppper Table @ Trinity United Methodist church will be held on the 1st Wednesday of every month. We need someone to do JUNE which is next week. STARS Preschool says THANKS!!!!!!

The Staff of Stars Preschool and the Preschool Team wish to thank everyone who helped make our first year successful. Thank you all for your prayers, support, donations and those who volunteered in any way. We appreciate being part of such a special ministry!

There are openings in our 2,4 and 5-year-old classes for the upcoming school year. Feel free to call and schedule a tour. We are still taking registrations for our summer camp for the weeks of June 15-19 and July 20-24.

Baptism Sunday June 7

Infant Baptisms & Dedications
To baptize or dedicate your infant through toddler age child, Contact Leigh Garcia at 704.707.1153 or leigh@xroadschurch.us. Dedications will be June 7 during the 9:45 AM service and Baptisms will be held during the 11:11 AM service on June 7.

Children’s Baptisms
If your child would like to be baptized there is a mandatory on Wednesday, June 3 at 6:30 PM in Room 200. The baptism will be on June 7 during the 11:11 AM service. If you plan to attend this meeting, contact Leanna Howard at 704.707.1154 or leanna@xroadschurch.us

Adult Baptisms
Our next baptism date is June 7. If you would like to be baptized, you will need to attend a mandatory meeting for baptism on Sunday, May 31 at 9:45 AM in Room 128. secondMondays event with free food, worship, and a guest speaker. Join us from 6:30 - 8:30 PM at Crossroads Church, in the NexGen Auditorium, for a good time of worship and fellowship. Guest Speaker is Andy Lambert.

secondMondays is an opportunity to bring men together from all over the area for a night of food, fun and fellowship! We meet on the SECOND MONDAY EVENING of each month, throughout the year. Our next gathering is June 8 .

Change For Change

First quarter Change For Change in the amount of 911.52 was given to La Alaba Orphanage in colombia South America which is located on the Amazon River. The orphanage travels up the rives and goes into villages and rescues babies that were left along the riverbank
