The scrapbooking will start at 6:00pm until midnight in Room 200 at the Concord Campus. Cost is $5.00 for the pizza and drinks. Stay as long as you can, bring whatever you are working on, and come out for a good time.

Healing Stitches - Prayer Shawl Ministry


Next Meeting is on Monday, November 9, 2009 7:00-8:30 PM in Room 118@ Crossroads Church, Concord

Come and join us, whether you know how to knit or crochet, or not! New people are always welcome. No Experience necessary. We will teach anyone interested in learning. We have extra needles and yarn available for visitors and guests to use. This is an excellent opportunity to find out what the Prayer Shawl Ministry is all about. Come and join us for a time of prayer, fellowship, sharing & learning. We look forward to seeing you on the second Monday of every month.

Gift Wrapping at Kannpolis Wal-Mart

The Kannapolis Campus will be wrapping up gifts at the Kannapolis Wal-Mart on Saturday, December 12 from 9-4. Volunteers are needed to wrap and donations of wrapping paper, tape, bows and name tags are needed.
If you would like to volunteer please contact Debi Vecchio at debi@xroadschurch.us with the time slot you would like to work. Donations can be dropped off at the Kannapolis Campus on Sundays and at the Concord Campus by the church office door marked Kannapolis

Prayer and Praise Service


There will be a Prayer and Praise Service on Wednesday, November 4 in the Worship Center of the Concord Campus at 7:00 pm. Come celebrate what God is doing in your life and worship with others. Childcare is provided.

A meal will be provided at 6:00 pm in the NextGen Wing. $5 for individual and $10 for a family.

80's and Bowling
Let's go back to the 80's and go bowling! - Girls, dress up in your best 80's outfit and meet us for a nite of bowling. We'll meet at Dave and Buster's at Concord Mills at 8:00pm. Cost to be determined.

Saturday, December 19
Dresses and Dessert
Let's all go on a holiday date to the Cheesecake Factory for dessert! Doll yourself up in a nice dress or outfit and meet us there (Southpark Mall) or at Tiffany's house - whichever is closer. Meet at Tiffany's around 6:30pm or at the restaurant by 7pm. Email Tiffany for directions if needed.

Traveling Angels

Our group will go to Morningside to make wreaths with the residents.

On Friday, December 4th

We will have a Christmas party at Morningside with gifts, games with prizes, entertainment and refreshments.

Children's Home Outreach

The next party is Sunday, November 15th at 2:00pm. This party is for Doug who is turning 17. Tiesha will also be during 17 however she will not be there on Sunday so wewould like to give her some gifts.

Book Club

One Heart will be starting a book club that will meet once a month at The Spa Villa & Boutique.

The group plans to use the Faith Point Book Club readings from Books-A-Million.

The first book is The Hope Refuge by Cindy Woodsmall.In November the group will meet again to talk about the book.
