Tickets for this year’s Carolina Christmas Spectacular will go on sale Monday, October 5! Tickets may be purchased weekly Monday-Friday at the Church Office from 9:00am-4:30pm while they last. Those purchasing tickets through the Church Box Office must do so in person using cash or check. Tickets may also be purchased online anytime at thespectacular.org. All major credit cards are accepted for online purchases. Get your tickets before they go on sale online! There will be a special engagement ticket sale on Saturday, October 3 here at the Church Office from 9:00am-1:00pm. Those purchasing tickets that day must do so using cash or check.This year’s show is yet again another brand new show presented in Dinner Theater format featuring music, dance, comedy, drama, interpretive movement, and special effects, with a live band and orchestra. The goal of the show is outreach, life impact and transformation, and promises to deliver high quality entertainment value as well.

Puerto Rico Mission Team Annual Auction - THIS SATURDAY!

The Puerto Rico Mission Team has set the date for the 2nd Annual Auction to be held on October 3, 2009, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm @ Crossroads Church.

Hotdogs/chips/cookies/drinks will be available for purchase.

We are looking for donation of items that are NEW or slightly USED and in really GOOD condition. If you have any items you would like to donate for the auction, please let Kevin Musselman know (contact information below); Kevin will make arrangements to pick up items if you cannot deliver them to Crossroads Church. We would like to ask for your prayers to cover the team traveling to Puerto Rico (Oct. 31 - Nov. 7) and for provision of the monies needed ($14,000 total cost).

Please feel free to share this information with anyone you know that might be interested in coming to this auction and/or willing to support this mission fundraiser. Any support is greatly appreciated.

Healing Stitches Prayer Shawl Ministry

Come and join us, whether you know how to knit or crochet, or not! New people are always welcome. No Experience necessary. We will teach anyone interested in learning. We have extra needles and yarn available for visitors and guests to use. This is an excellent opportunity to find out what the Prayer Shawl Ministry is all about. Come and join us for a time of prayer, fellowship, sharing & learning. We look forward to seeing you on the second Monday of every month.

God's Supper Table - Volunteers Needed.

LOCAL OUTREACH OPPORTUNITY - God's Supper Table at Trinity United Methodist Church Kannapolis. Crossroads is in charge of 1st Wednesday every month to provide a free dinner (they have a menu) for about 50-60 people at Trinity UMC. This meal is open to anyone in Kannapolis. We are to provide the meal, do a short devotion and hang out with the people. If your small group, family or friends want to host a month please contact Tammy Enoch at iluvtogo@msn.com you can do this with only 5-6 people or more... We need volunteers for October, November and December.

Children's Choir

The Children's Choir will be meeting on Wednesday evenings at 6:45 - 7:30 Preschool & K2. 7:30-8:15 are for 5th & 6th graders. The choir is seperate from the Community Life Night so parents that do not participate in the Wedensday programs may drop their children off to choir.

If you are interested in leading a short term mission trip in 2010 please pick up a Trip Proposal form and Short Term Team Leader Application from the Mission Corner or email missions@xroadschurch.us to request a copy. Forms should be submitted no later than October 11th.
