Sunday Fellowship Day at Carowinds - Deadline THIS SUNDAY!

We invite you to Sunday Fellowship Day at Carowinds. A day of fun with your family is scheduled for July 19th, 2009. The price is $30.99 per person ages 3 & older. This is an all day pass that includes your admission & meal. We will gather at one of the Picnic Pavilions which will be open from 3:30pm-5:00pm, meal will be served from 3:30pm-4:30pm only. You may leave to go after attending service, however, we will have the church vans ready for transportation after the third service.

Registration forms can be picked up in the Narthex or NextGen Welcome Desks between services or at the church office during normal business hours. Deadline to register is Sunday July 12th, 2009. Make checks payable to Crossroads and in the memo write Carowinds. For more information or questions contact leanna@xroadschurch.us.

Chris and Robyn Zickmund are preparing to go into full time ministry with United World Mission. They will be serving as missionaries in Huy, Belgium. In preparation for their departure they will be hosting a Family and Friends Moving Sale on Thursday and Friday July 9 and 10 from 6PM- 8PM. A public sale will be Saturday, July 11th from 7AM until Noon.

Kannapolis VBS

Kannapolis Campus will be having Bible School Blast on Saturday, August 1 9:00am-12:00pm at the Kannapolis YMCA for ages 2 thru rising 6th graders. Bring a picnic lunch for your family to eat in the park after VBS. Don't forget your swim suits for the splash pad!

Kathy Lau's uncle, Art Lau, passed away on Friday (7/3). Funeral will be held in Georgia today (7/6) at 2:00 PM. Please pray for comfort and peace for the family; also pray for travel safety.

Volunteers needed to help at the Shelter

Looking for individuals, families, or groups interested in volunteering at the Salvation Army Night Shelter in Concord. Volunteers are needed to assist with checking people in each evening. Additional volunteers are needed to prepare and serve the meal each night. Crossroads will host the week of July 26-August 1, 2009. This is a great way to minister to others in our community.
