Puerto Rico Mission Team Annual Auction


The Puerto Rico Mission Team has set the date for the 2nd Annual Auction to be held on October 3, 2009, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm @ Crossroads Church.

Hotdogs/chips/cookies/drinks will be available for purchase.

We are looking for donation of items that are NEW or slightly USED and in really GOOD condition. If you have any items you would like to donate for the auction, please let Kevin Musselman know (contact information below); Kevin will make arrangements to pick up items if you cannot deliver them to Crossroads Church.

We would like to ask for your prayers to cover the team traveling to Puerto Rico (Oct. 31 - Nov. 7) and for provision of the monies needed ($14,000 total cost).

Please feel free to share this information with anyone you know that might be interested in coming to this auction and/or willing to support this mission fundraiser. Any support is greatly appreciated.

Healing Stitches Prayer Shawl Ministry

Come and join us, whether you know how to knit or crochet, or not! New people are always welcome. No Experience necessary. We will teach anyone interested in learning. We have extra needles and yarn available for visitors and guests to use. This is an excellent opportunity to find out what the Prayer Shawl Ministry is all about. Come and join us for a time of prayer, fellowship, sharing & learning. We look forward to seeing you on the second Monday of every month.

Tupperware 4 SWAT


SWAT (student worship arts team) will be sponsoring a Tupperware Party/Fundraiser on Saturday, September 19, from 10:00am-12:00pm in room 126 (banquet room) there will be free prizes along with cash & carry items. Community Life Night


Starting Wednesday, September 23, 6pm A night of food, fellowship, and God's Word. The evening will begin with an inexpensive meal ($10/family, $5/individuals), followed by teaching and small groups as well as programs for children and youth. Monday, September 14, is the next secondMondays event with free food, worship, and speaker Andy Lambert. Join us from 6:30pm - 8:30pm at Crossroads Church, in the Worship Center, for a good time of worship and fellowship.

secondMondays is an opportunity to bring men together from all over the area for a night of food, fun and fellowship! We meet on the SECOND MONDAY EVENING of each month, throughout the year. Each month may feature a different event, speaker or activity, but each meeting is based around a time for growth, spiritually and socially. Batten Disease Support & Research Association

ourboysjourney.com presents Pre Race Dinner October 3, 5:00pm-8:00pm. Harris Road Middle School. Bring the family out for a great evening to include pasta dinner, silent auction, children's games and an inspirational message from a world class athlete. Proceeds to benefit the Batten Disease Support and Research Association, a 501c3 organization.

God's Supper Table - Volunteers needed.

LOCAL OUTREACH OPPORTUNITY - God's Supper Table at Trinity United Methodist Church Kannapolis. Crossroads is in charge of 1st Wednesday every month to provide a free dinner (they have a menu) for about 50-60 people at Trinity UMC. This meal is open to anyone in Kannapolis. We are to provide the meal, do a short devotion and hang out with the people. If your small group, family or friends want to host a month please contact Tammy Enoch at iluvtogo@msn.com you can do this with only 5-6 people or more... We need volunteers for October, November and December.

One Heart Bible Study Date Correction


In the bulletin for Sunday, September 6, it was incorrectly stated that the One Heart Bible Studies would start Thursday Sept 17th. The correct dates are Thursday, September 10 and Tuesday, September 15.
