Bobby Wheeler is in the Army serving in Iraq and is working on distributing supplies to Iraqi schools. There are 11 schools in the district he's in charge of with 300 kids in each. If you would like to suppy a child with a shoebox of supplies, please bring it to Crossroads and leave it at the Missions Map before August 9th. Lisa (Bobby's wife) will make arrangements with the Army to ship the items over to Bobby. Suggested items are: crayons, markers, kleenex, pencils, pens, small note books, ruler, eraser, protractor, compasses, scissors, sugarless gum, toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, small bar of soap, washcloth, socks, pencil sharpeners . . you get the idea. Plain backpacks or ones with Barbi or Ken are okay too. For more information, contact Lisa Wheeler at bandlwheeler@ctc.net
