Crossroads meant a lot to Marsha and her friends here were a constant support to her during the challenges she faced. She loved her church family and was richly blessed by their presence in her life. As a matter of fact, she blossomed here and found a true place to call home. For everything you meant to Marsha we express our deepest gratitude. You all touched her life in ways you will never know.

God's Supper Table @ Trinity UMC in Kannapolis
LOCAL OUTREACH OPPORTUNITY - God's Supper Table at Trinity United Methodist Church Kannapolis
Crossroads is in charge of 1st Wednesday every month to provide a free dinner (they have a menu) for about 50-60 people at Trinity UMC.
This meal is open to anyone in Kannapolis. We are to provide the meal, do a short devotion and hang out with the people. If your small group, family or friends want to host a month please Contact Tammy Enoch at iluvtogo@msn.com you can do this with only 5-6 people or more... In May Your Crossroads Mission Leadership team will help.

This is a Bible study for couples spinning off the movie Fireproof. Class will start on the April 5th during the 3rd service at 11:11 AM in room 122. SpiritUs 2009 August 14-17
SpiritUs is a 3 day retreat at the end of the summer intended to Spirit fill our students as they head back to school. Students will enjoy awesome music, dynamic teaching and small group times. This year will also feature Shane Claiborne, international speaker and founder of the Potter Street Community (formerly The Simple Way). There will also be some free time in which students can enjoy the beach, canoeing, putt-putt, basketball and many other activities.
Cost: $180 (includes lodging and meals) Registration and payment due May 17th. The first 25 actively participating SHOUT members to register will receive $50 scholarships to offset the cost of attending. You will be considered REGISTERED when a completed application and $50 deposit have been received.

GoldRush 2009 July 6-10
GoldRush is a weeklong summer student retreat created and hosted by the Perimeter Church Student Ministry. The incredible blessing is that it is completely student-led. Perimeter’s students powerfully challenge their peers to grow in their walk with Christ through testimonies, drama, worship, small group interaction and more. The great desire is for each student to grasp the Truth and make life-changing decisions that last far beyond the excitement of the week.
This retreat is open to rising 8th graders –graduating seniors and there will be separate tracks for Middle School and High School students. Each afternoon student will leave the campus for different actives including one afternoon at White Water and two at a local mission project.

Parents Night Out
Come bring your children to Parent's Night Out hosted by the Mexico Mission Team. This will be a great night for you to have a date with your spouse, run errands, or just get some time away from your kids. Donations are requested.

Mark and Lori Carnes are the proud parents of a son, Baylon Zarek Carnes, born on March 28, weighing 7 lbs 2 oz and 19 3/4" long. Lori and the baby are doing well and are going home from the hospital today.
