Walk 10:00am-11:00am

Not only is this a vital fundraiser for the Center, but it a family-oriented event where we have an opportunity to fellowship and celebrate our stance for LIFE. This event will raise community awareness of the services we provide. In 2008, our 24hr Hotline received 3,888 calls and we served more than 1,000 women and their families.

There are many ways in which church members can get involved. We will need lots of walkers to get pledges from family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. Walkers can be individuals or groups. There are great prizes for the top two walkers in each category.

There will be live music, a K-9 and Karate demonstration, a chili cook-off and a “Basket Bonanza” silent auction. People will have an opportunity to bid on more than 30 lovely “theme” baskets. Pony rides, moonwalk, clowns, face painting are among some of the activities for the kids. Lots of food and other refreshments!

We will need church groups to volunteer to donate items for the baskets or put whole baskets together for us. You can pick your own theme or select one from the list. I will be coordinating the baskets this year, so please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Lastly, we need business sponsors for our event. If you own a business or work for a business and would like to have your company get involved, please contact us. There are many levels of support and each business will receive different levels of sponsor recognition
