Brazil Mission Team - Donations needed

The Brazil Mission Team will be accepting donations of coloring books, small packs of crayons and new dish towels for their mission trip in July.They can be placed in the missions corner by the large map. Deadline for donations is July 5th. Thank you for all your support

Kid's 1st Need

Do you have any old magazine that you just toss? Well Kid's 1st in Kannapolis is looking for some old magazine for pictures, letters, wordsetc. Please bring family friendly magazines to the NexGen Worship center and drop them in the bin next to the Welcome Desk.

BASIC Cook-Out Event

BASIC Cook-Out Event will be held Saturday, July 18. This will be for the Bros and Girl's Night Out groups at Lenny's Cabin near Galax. The group will leave 8am from the church and arrive back at 9pm

Sunday Fellowship Day at Carowinds

We invite you to Sunday Fellowship Day at Carowinds. A day of fun with your family is scheduled for July 19th, 2009. The price is $30.99 per person ages 3 & older. This is an all day pass that includes your admission & meal. We will gather at one of the Picnic Pavilions which will be open from 3:30pm-5:00pm, meal will be served from 3:30pm-4:30pm only. You may leave to go after attending service, however, we will have the church vans ready for transportation after the third service.Registration forms can be picked up in the Narthex or NextGen Welcome Desks between services or at the church office during normal business hours. Deadline to register is Sunday July 12th, 2009. Make checks payable to Crossroads and in the memo write Carowinds. For more information or questions contact leanna@xroadschurch.us.

God's Supper Table - Tonight

Nancy Friend is organizing volunteers to prepare and serve dinner at God's Supper Table on Wednesday, July 1, at Trinity UMC in Kannapolis. We are planning to serve spaghetti, salad, bread and dessert. Trinity Church started this outreach several months ago in order to share the Gospel and meet the need of feeding hungry people in the area. Now 50-60 people come every week. Crossroads Church has committed to provide the meal on the first Wednesday of every month. Where The Band????????????????

Where's The Band!? Every Summer, we give our Praise Band a much needed rest during the month of July and the first part of August. This gives them an opportunity to worship with their families, take vacations, and to renew their spirits. During this time, we use a more acoustic style of worship. The full-band experience will return in August.

Kindermusik -spaces available for August

Kindermusik will be offered at the Concord Campus by Lori Carnes. Lori is a graduate of Wingate University and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications with a emphasis in Journalism and Media Arts. She and her husband Mark, Crossroads' Worship and Arts Director, have three boys. Come join Lori on this musical journey where you and your child will have a magical, memorable time together both in class and at home. Kannapolis VBS

Kannapolis Campus will be having Bible School Blast on Saturday, August 1 9:00am-12:00pm at the Kannapolis YMCA for ages 2 thru rising 6th graders. Bring a picnic lunch for your family to eat in the park after VBS. secondMondays - Guest Speaker - Scott Ireland

Monday, July 13, 2009, is the next secondMondays event with free food, worship, and speaker, Scott Ireland. Join us from 6:30 - 8:30 PM at Crossroads Church, in the Worship Center, for a good time of worship and fellowship.

secondMondays is an opportunity to bring men together from all over the area for a night of food, fun and fellowship! We meet on the SECOND MONDAY EVENING of each month, throughout the year. Each month may feature a different event, speaker or activity, but each meeting is based around a time for growth, spiritually and socially. We meet in the Worship Center at Crossroads Church in Concord.
