Puerto Rico Mission Team Fundraiser

The Puerto Rico Mission Team is currently selling Auto Bell car wash certificates to raise funds to support the April 2010 trip.

On this trip we will serve the Lord through worship and praise at the local church (Barrio Singapur, Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico) supported by the missionaries, John and Kerry Cox. Many of you may remember them from their recent visit at Crossroads in October 2009. We also will provide much needed construction and repairs to damaged homes within the same community.

Each certificate is for a $13.95 Full Service Car Wash - valid at any Auto Bell location and does not have an expiration date.

To support this Mission Trip by purchasing a car wash certificate, please stop by the office window in the Narthex (Concord Campus) this Sunday.

Easter Lilies

The church will be displaying Easter Lilies for our Easter Sunday Worship Services. Proceeds are donated to the Arc of Cabarrus County. Order forms are available at the Church Office during the week, at the Welcome Desk on Sunday mornings or directly through the Arc of Cabarrus County. Following the 11:11am service on Easter Sunday, the lilies may be taken home with you.

Middle School Mission Trip (7th-8th grades only)
Thursday May 27 - Monday May 31
The purpose of this trip is to help the staff of Camp Icthus get ready to open. We will be working each day cleaning, painting, and landscaping. Each afternoon there will be a time to enjoy some of the activities the camp offers, such as hiking, tubing, swimming, and tons of other stuff. Applications available online and at bulletin board in NexGen. Application deadline, March 28.

Gold Rush (7th-12th grade)
Monday, July 12 - Friday, July 16
A week-long summer, student-led retreat created and hosted by the Perimeter Church Student Ministry. Students are challenged by their peers to grow in their walk with Christ through testimonies, drama, worship, small group interaction, local missions work and more. Registration and payment deadline is May 12. Cost: $150. If paid in full by April 12, cost $100. Registration forms available online and at bulletin board in NexGen.

SpiritUs (7th-12th grade)
Saturday August 14 - Tuesday August 17
SpiritUs is a four-day retreat at the end of the summer intended to fill students with the Spirit as they head back to school. Students will enjoy awesome music, dynamic teaching, and small group times. There will also be some free time in which students can enjoy the beach, canoeing, putt-putt, basketball, and many other activities. Registration & payment deadline May 26, $180. If paid in full by April 12, cost $130. Registration forms available online and at bulletin board in NexGen.

SHOUT Spring Retreat

Friday, March 12, 6:00pm - Saturday, March 13, 8:00pm
For 30 hours, our students will get a taste of hunger by not eating - something more than a billion people around the world experience every day. They will also participate in fundraising activities, community service projects and learn more about the facts of world hunger. Sign-up on Facebook or shannon@xroadschurch.us.

Hockey for Haiti

Join us Thursday, March 11 for a night of hockey with the Charlotte Checkers. The Checkers will be hosting the Gwinnett Gladiators. Half of all proceeds from the ticket sales from the evening will go to the Red Cross Haiti Relief Fund. The puck drops at 7:00pm!
