Life Skills for Women


The new Women's Life Skills Class will be starting Thursday, April 2 at 6:30 PM -9:30 PM. Life Skills is a 26-week course for anyone that wants to break free from the patterns of their past. This course is also great for strengthening relationships and building a stronger you. There is a fee for the class.

Easter Egg Hunt


Saturday, April 4th from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Concord Campus. Lots of fun activities for kids ages 10 and under. Live music and food will be provided by the Ethiopia Missions Team. Bring the whole family and invite friends too! Don't forget your baskets!

GoldRush 2009 July 6-10


GoldRush is a weeklong summer student retreat created and hosted by the Perimeter Church Student Ministry. The incredible blessing is that it is completely student-led. Perimeter’s students powerfully challenge their peers to grow in their walk with Christ through testimonies, drama, worship, small group interaction and more. The great desire is for each student to grasp the Truth and make life-changing decisions that last far beyond the excitement of the week. This retreat is open to rising 8th graders –graduating seniors and there will be separate tracks for Middle School and High School students. Each afternoon student will leave the campus for different actives including one afternoon at White Water and two at a local mission project.

Cost: $160/person (includes lodging and continental breakfast, but DOES NOT include other MEALS) Application and $50 non-refundable deposit due May 3rd, balance due June 7th.

Requirements: Students must be rising 8th-12th graders and complete the application in its entirety.

The first 30 actively participating SHOUT members to register will receive $60 scholarships to offset the cost of attending. You will be considered REGISTERED when a completed application and $50 deposit have been received. Contact Shannon Chambers 704.707.1152 or shannon@xroadschurch.us.

SpiritUs 2009 August 14-17


SpiritUs is a 3 day retreat at the end of the summer intended to Spirit fill our students as they head back to school. Students will enjoy awesome music, dynamic teaching and small group times. This year will also feature Shane Claiborne, international speaker and founder of the Potter Street Community (formerly The Simple Way). There will also be some free time in which students can enjoy the beach, canoeing, putt-putt, basketball and many other activities.

Cost: $180 (includes lodging and meals) Registration and payment due May 17th. The first 25 actively participating SHOUT members to register will receive $50 scholarships to offset the cost of attending. 3rd Annual 5K Walk/Run for Brazil Mission Trip


Come and sign up for the 3rd Annual 5k Walk/Run to support the Brazil Mission Team. The Walk/Run will be held at Crossroads Concord Campus at 7:00 AM on Saturday, May 9th. Entry fee is $15.00 prior to April 20th. $10.00 for High School and Younger Students. $20.00 after April 20th up to the date of the event.

S.W.A.T. Fundraiser


S.W.A.T. will be selling World's Finest Chocolate Bars between services on Sunday, March 29. The bars are $1.00 each with a $2.00 off coupon for Pizza Hut. The table will be located outside the kitchen.

Easter Lilies


Crossroads would like to display Easter Lilies for our Easter Sunday Worship Services. We will be ordering from the Arc of Cabarrus County. Anyone desiring to place an order for Easter Lilies may place the order with the Church Office during the week or place the order directly through the Arc of Cabarrus County. Order forms may be picked up at the Church Office during the week or at the Information Center in the Lobby Area of the church building. Lilies are $8.50/piece. The Easter Lilies will be displayed during all three Easter Sunday services. Following the 11:11am service that day, the lilies may be taken home with you.
