Thanks to everyone who has given to the "Entry Road Paving Project". We have worked hard and found a supplier willing to do the project at cost but are still approximately $4000 short of our goal. Anyone interested in helping us raise the additional $4000 can make a check out to the church for the "Entry Road Paving Project" and send it to the attention of Bea Flower the Administrative Ministry Assistant at the church office.

The Waxhaw Campus would like to borrow a flat bed truck, or a truck and trailer that they can use for the Waxhaw Parade on July 3rd. They need to have it for a week before the parade to decorate it.

Watoto Children’s Choir from Uganda, Africa performs live the “Concert of Hope”

Since 1994, Watoto Children’s Choirs have toured internationally spreading the hope for Africa’s children through their music and dance. Area United Methodist Churches will meet together at Intimidators Stadium and then go out into the community to do service projects. In a recent sermon, Pastor Lowell said, "we are a great herd of people and have strength". On June 5th we will become a great herd, taking over the area putting work into the community.

The Power of One Summer Camp Series exists to share Christ with children in our community through sports, fitness, music technology and foreign language.
Our half-day PowerZone Sports Camps are designed for young athletes in 1st-6th grades who want to develop their athletic skills. Each day includes solid physical and spiritual training from coaches and athletes, as well as Bible studies and much, much more. The goal is to reach young athletes and provide them with instruction and competition through a sport-specific focus.
Our evening camp series focuses on children exploring the areas of fitness, Spanish and DJ'ing. These hands-on, interactive camps meet for four consecutive evenings and are sure to be a fun-filled time for all involved.
Registration is open April 1 - May 30, 2010.
