RSS Feed Cancellation beginning July 19th

We are working to streamline communications here at Crossroads Church, in order to make communication more effective. Do to an overwhelming difference in followers between Facebook and the RSS Feed we will be moving our daily updates to our Fan Page (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Concord-NC/Crossroads-Church/84707093338).

Beginning July 19th we will no longer be posting to the RSS Feed.

Bunco Night Correction

One Heart Bunco Night will happen on JULY 24 as opposed to June 24 which was originally posted. Please make a note of the correction.

2nd Monday's Cancelled for Summer

Men's Second Mondays has been cancelled for July & August. It will start back September 13. Men make plans to be there at 6:30pm in the NexGen for a time of food, fellowship, worship, and a speaker! For more info, check out the website!

One Heart Bunco Night

Need a night out? Due for a good laugh? Want a chance to get to know other women in the church and community?

Join us for this dice game of chance that requires no skill, so anyone can learn to play on July 24 from 7pm - 9pm

Vacation Bible School, July 31, 2010 at 9:00 am at the Kannapolis YMCA sponsored by the Crossroads Kannapolis campus "Roundin' Up Questions Drivin' Home Answers" VBS

Saddle up for VBS 2010 where kids will be ridin' the range and roundin' up questions like: "What is God's plan for me?" and "How can I be like Jesus?" this will be an exciting day of lessons, games, crafts, songs, pizza for lunch and an afternoon at the splash pad in Village park. Ages birth thru 6th grade. complete a registration form and return to the Kids 1st desk. For more information, contact Nancy - nancy@xroadschurch.us.

Father's Day Pictures Needed

We are working on a song for Father's Day Sunday and would like to include pictures of fathers and their children to show on the screens during the song. We would like to ask all fathers at Crossroads to send in a picture of you and your kids for the song. It does not have to be a "portrait". In fact more candid pictures of everyday life would be best. Please email the pictures to anthony.west@xroadschurch.us before Thursday June 17.

"Entry Road Paving Project" Update

Thanks to everyone who has given to the "Entry Road Paving Project". We have worked hard and found a supplier willing to do the project at cost but are still approximately $4000 short of our goal. Anyone interested in helping us raise the additional $4000 can make a check out to the church for the "Entry Road Paving Project" and send it to the attention of Bea Flower the Administrative Ministry Assistant at the church office.

Wedding Announcement!

Bea Flower (Administrative Assistant at Crossroads) and Paul O'Neil will be united in marriage. Everyone is invited to witness the exchanging of vows during the worship service and the reception following the service. With the combining of their two households into one, in lieu of traditional wedding gifts there will be a Blessings Tree to hang your prayers, well wishes or even gift cards to bless their union.

Family Movie Night

Saturday, June 12, 2010 l 6:30 pm l NexGen Auditorium l Crossroads Church

Make plans to bring the family and enjoy “UP”, a great Disney movie about the adventures of a boy scout and his elderly friend who end up flying half way across the world to save a rare bird. It caters to both children and adults and is a must see movie about developing relationships through adversity.

The cost of admission is a donation to help the Navajo Mission Team make it to New Mexico.

Drinks, popcorn and candy will be available and affordable.

Trailer Needed for Waxhaw Campus

The Waxhaw Campus would like to borrow a flat bed truck, or a truck and trailer that they can use for the Waxhaw Parade on July 3rd. They need to have it for a week before the parade to decorate it.
